Petcure Antibacterial Tablet
Tetracyclines are bacteriostatic antibiotics that inhibit protein synthesis by reversibly binding to 30S ribosomal subunits of susceptible organisms like bacteria, thus preventing aminoacyl transfer-RNA binding to those ribosomes.

Dosage and Administration
Dogs – Give 1 tablet / 10 Kilogram body weight. For the treatment and control of Ehrlichiosis (Ehrlichia canis) in dogs; treat twice a day for 28 days. For cases of urinary tract infection; treat twice a day for 7 – 14 days. Or as prescribed by a licensed veterinarian.
Contradictions
Do not use concurrently with oral iron products that may decrease the absorption of Tetracycline. Do not give concurrently with Bismuth Subsalicylate, Kaolin and Pectin as it may also decrease the absorption of Tetracycline. Avoid using concurrently with oral antacids, saline cathartics, and other gastrointestinal products containing Aluminum, Calcium, Magnesium and Zinc Cations which might reduce the absorption of Tetracycline.
Precautions
Avoid giving to pregnant animals, as it causes congenital malformations and embryotoxicity, give only when the benefits outweigh the risk.
